Trật Tự Của Từ Trong Tiếng Anh
Những người mới học tiếng Anh thường hay gặp những khó khăn về các sắp xếp, phân biệt trật tự (vị trí) của từ trong câu. Chúng ta thường nhầm lẫn vị trí các từ như. Động từ và trạng từ, danh từ và tính từ… Bài học dưới đây là kiến thức cơ bản cho các bạn bắt đầu học tiếng Anh nắm được những trật tự của từ trong câu.
Verb + Object (Động từ + Bổ ngữ)
Dưới đây là những trật từ thường gặp nhất trong câu tiếng Anh:
Subject + Verb + Object (Chủ ngữ + Động từ + Bổ ngữ)
Examples:
- Sally speaks English.
- John reads the newspaper.
Place & Time (Địa điểm và thời gian)
Trong tiếng Anh, địa điểm thường được đặt trước thời gian.
Examples:
- I go to the supermarket every Saturday. (Không phải: I go every Saturday to the supermarket)
- Bill has lived in London for 10 years. (Không phải: Bill has lived for 10 years in London)
Adverbs of Frequency (Trạng từ chỉ tần suất)
Các trạng từ chỉ tần suất như: always, never, sometimes, often, rarely, v.v. thường được đặt trước động từ.
Examples:
- Susan often goes shopping.
- I never gamble.
- They always sleep early.
Tuy nhiên, khi đi với động từ to be, chúng lại đứng sau động từ.
Examples:
- She is rarely late.
- He is never home before dark.
Chúng cũng có thể đứng giữa trợ động từ và động từ chính.
Examples:
- I will always remember my brother.
- I have never been to Japan.
